Welcome to Oman. On arrival in Muscat meet our local representative outside the baggage hall area at the airport. Sit back in the comfort of your coach, as we drive you to the hotel , check into your hotel and relax. (Standard Check in time after 1500Hrs, early check in is subjected to supplement cost).

After breakfast, Proceed on a guided city tour of Muscat. Learn and experience Muscat with our licensed and informational tour guides. The tour starts with a visit to Royal Opera House. From here proceed for a visit of the GRAND MOSQUE which is one the largest mosques in the world. Later visit to Natural History Museum, Continue your drive to the Al Alam Palace. Drive along the Corniche waterfront to the "MUTTRAH SOUQ", one of the oldest markets in Oman.

Oman never runs out of natural and cultural wonders that until your last day of exploration, your schedule will be brimming with adventures. Along the drive to Wahiba Sands, stop to visit Bimah Sinkhole, spectacular limestone crater that had been created many years ago by a collapsing mountain and is filled with blue-green seawater. Not far from the sinkhole, a small but beautiful stretch of white beach sands at the Finns Beach. Snorkeling at this clear blue sapphire waters would be perfect. Then off to Wadi Tiwi. Enjoy a deep and narrow canyon carved out of the mountains and lush green plantations with the comfort of your car. You'll be driven straight now to Sur to visit the dhow-building yard where traditional wooden boats are made by hand. Head towards Wahiba. Bash the dunes and just lose yourself in the beauty of the ever-changing slopes of sand. The remaining of this day will be dedicated for the Bedouins -see their homes and get a chance to experience an authentic Omani warm welcome of coffee and dates. Watch the sunset on top of the dunes.

One of the most sought-after parts of any Oman itinerary is the wadi day - where you will finally have the chance to take a dip and relax in the cool waters of a natural pool. Remember to bring light clothing for a swim as you head to Wadi Bani Khalid. Enjoy not only the calm, clear and deep waters, but also the sight of palm trees all around. (Note: bikinis are not allowed) Then drive via Ibra to reach to the most beautiful Castle in Oman, the Jibreen Castel. 45 kilometers from Nizwa, visit the finest of Oman's castles built during the late 17th century. The castle displays beautiful ceiling paintings and intricate wood carvings. Photo stop at Bahla Fort - the oldest and first Omani fort to be built in the Islamic style. Misfah, has a falaj system and green terraces which provides the population of Oasis dwellers abundant bounty in terms of fruits (mango, papaya, banana and dates) and vegetables despite the dry vegetation elsewhere. Then finally drive up to the Jebel Shams Mountain, the highest mountain in Oman and home to the famous Oman's Grand Canyon.

Start very early morning to drive down and visit the unique cattle market in Nizwa, available only during Fridays (know as Friday Cattle Market). Livestock owners, both women and men from nearby areas bring their animals; mainly are sheep, goats, cattle and at times even camels to sell in the market where they are registered. Visit the Nizwa fort which has been strategically built atop a hill overlooking the ancient city with its colorful domes and bustling market below. Spend some time in this traditional city and visit the interesting fort with the round tower and the museum and stroll thru the Souq. Drive back to Muscat passing through Birkat Al Mauz -see how the traditional irrigation system that was used centuries ago and till date functions as the village uses it to nourish the Oasis.
