Day 1

Arrive Leh

Arrive at Leh airport ( Kushok Bakula Rinpoche ) by morning flight . This flight is one of the most sensational flights in the world. On a clear day from one side of the aircraft can be seen in the distance the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it, is the Nun Kun massif. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. You would take a little time to settle in and acclimatize since you have gone from a relatively low elevation to over 11,000 feet! During the afternoon, you can walk through the old town, to allow you to get oriented to this fascinating city. Overnight in a hotel Glacier View or similar

Day 2

In Leh

After breakfast half day sightseeing of Sankar Gompa: Located on a valley floor and is the home to Lamas who belong to yellow sect and worship his Holiness - The Dalai Lama. Visit Shanti Stupa : a Buddhist religious monument built by Indian based Japanese Monk whose intention was to spread Buddhism by building such stupas throughout the world & Leh Palace : the 17th. Century looking for the entire world like a miniature version of the Potala in Lhasa. The rest of the day is free for personal activities, Meals and overnight at Hotel Glacier View or similar

Day 3

Leh to Nubra Valley Via Khardungla Pass

140Km / 5 -6 Hours In the morning proceed to Nubra Valley via the World’s Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla pass.Arrive Nubra Valley and proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can enjoy the camel ride (Camel ride on direct payment basis).Visit Diskit Monastery after Sand Dunes. Check in at comfortable Camp or Hotel Evening at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at Dlx camp Valley flower or similar

Day 4

Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake

Located at an altitude of 14,200 feet, Pangong Lake, also known as Pangong Tso, stretches from India to China. The crystal clear waters of the Pangong Lake change its color in many shades of blue and green with the changing position of the sun in the sky. A refreshing phenomenon and a sheer treat for eyes, the lake is a beautiful contrast of deep blue water against the strong hues of brown land. Though the brackish water supports negligible vegetation or aquatic life, the lake is also a haven for bird watchers. Inner Line Permit is required to visit here which can now be availed online as well. Also, this high grassland lake has made an appearance in several Indian movies.

Day 5

Leh

After early breakfast full day visit to Shey, Thicksey & Hemis. Shey was the summer Palace of Ladakhi Kings and is where you can see the 36Ft. high statue of Buddha made of copper and covered with gold. Thicksey : The twelve storied monastery of Thicksey is situated in the most prominent of positions, lies on an island Mountain. Finally visit; Hemis : Farthest away from Leh, this is the wealthiest Monastery in Ladakh belonging to the Red Sect - it is here each summer that plays are held and Ladakhis from all parts of the country will visit Hemis. Evening return to Leh via Sindu Darshan, Meals and overnight at Hotel Hotel Glacier view

Leh Departure

Check out from hotel in time to catch your onward flight back home.
